From Pulling to Perfect: loose leash walking made easy!

Whether you want to teach your puppy or new dog great leash walking skills from the start, or you have a strong puller already and you’d like to teach him to walk politely, this class is for you. In this class, you will learn:

• How to get your dog to focus on you around distractions
• Why your dog pulls so hard and how to change that
• The secret to making teaching loose leash walking WAY easier
• How to utilize environmental rewards so excellent loose leash walking is easy to maintain with or without treats
• How to actually teach your dog where they should be in reference to the leash
• Hw to use distractions to your advantage
• And more!

Class is appropriate for all ages, all breeds, and all sizes. This class uses 100% positive reinforcement training and does not promote or use any tools or techniques that startle or punish dogs. Tools required are a flat collar, martingale collar, or harness.

The class is through a group on Facebook, and is structured to run over the course of 6 weeks. Class size is kept small to maintain attention to students so you won’t get lost in the crowd. Class enrollment grants you 2 months of unlimited access to class materials, unlimited instructor support, and unlimited video feedback.

Magic Manicures: teach your dog to beg for nail trims!

Does your dog run from the sight of the nail clippers? Yank their foot away when he hears or feels the dremel? Does he need to be pinned down to get any nail maintenance completed, or is that becoming less and less possible?

Regular grooming and care is a necessary part of keeping dogs physically healthy, as well as an important way to routinely check for any physical abnormalities. Having a dog who is not only still while being groomed, but who invites and enjoys that grooming, makes the process MUCH easier for everyone involved. This is specifically designed for nail trims, but can also be applied to any other aspects of grooming and handling: brushing, dental care like brushing, clipping and shaving (for some coats), giving eye or ear drops when medically necessary, removing burrs or stickers after a hike, and so much more!
