Let’s get started!

To start your dog’s training journey, we will set up an Initial Consult.

This is a 90 minute lesson in your home that includes getting to know you and your dog, your goals and any problems you’re looking to fix, building a training plan customized to your dog, and getting started with training. You will get to keep our session notes, as they will contain helpful, customized information to help set you and your dog up for success.

Within 48 hours after our lesson, I will also send you a follow up email which will include video and written resources to follow along with our in-person consult, as well as a specific plan on what to work on at home to help your dog succeed.

After the Initial Consult, we will discuss and set up a consistent schedule for follow up lessons (typically once per week), or set up a Puppy Camp.

I want to personally thank you for teaching me how to train my dog in a fun and affectionate way. I watched a lot of YouTube videos but each trainer seemed to have a different way and I got frustrated because it wasn’t working for us.
 
Just after one session with you, Solo and I have thrived together and have really bonded with each other. The “reward zone” has been a game changer for us. I was having a difficult time figuring out how to transition him to living room privileges. Until now, Solo has only had access to his “play room” aka my enclosed office and supervised backyard time. When I would try to incorporate him into the living room with the kids and all the temptations, it was stressful. The kids would get upset by him getting in their face & he wouldn’t settle.
 
I thought I was doing all the “right” things. I would find myself super frustrated and discouraged. Now, we’ve been practicing and he’s been so responsive and we’ve been having fun! He loves hanging out in the living room, on his bed (reward zone) and getting rewarded for staying there. We’re still practicing of course, but your hands on people training has truly made an impact on my day to day mental load, and has opened the door for a new relationship with my puppy!

This is a 90 minute lesson via Zoom that includes getting to know you and your dog, your goals and any problems you’re looking to fix, building a training plan customized to your dog, and getting started with training. I will demonstrate how to teach skills using my own dogs, and then coach you through doing the same with your own dog.

You will receive an email with your session notes as well as a customized plan including video and written resources to follow along with our live consult, and a homework plan on what to work on at home to help your dog succeed.

After the Initial Consult, we will discuss and set up a consistent schedule for follow up lessons.
